We collect information you provide directly when using NudgePay:

• Account information: name, email address, business name, and password
• Client information: client names, phone numbers, and email addresses that you enter for invoice reminders
• Invoice data: invoice amounts, due dates, descriptions, and payment status
• Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)
• Usage data: how you interact with the Service, including pages visited and features used

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Send invoice reminders on your behalf via SMS and email
• Process subscription payments
• Send you account-related communications (billing, security, updates)
• Improve and develop new features
• Respond to support requests

When you use NudgePay to send reminders, we transmit messages through third-party providers (Twilio for SMS, Resend for email). Message content, recipient phone numbers, and delivery status are processed to provide the Service. We retain message logs for your reminder history feature. We do not use message content for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Convex (database hosting) — only as necessary to operate the Service
• Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
